We currently have 2 full time GPs; Dr Richard Wong and Dr Craig Unwin and 2 part time GPs; Dr Natalie Palmer and Dr Lynne Teinert who are supported by our Nurse Practitioners Sister Caroline Andrews and Sister Hayley Brown in addition to Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacist, GP Assistant and Health Care Assistants.
How does our Appointment system work?
Every day we offer have a mix of face to face appointments and telephone appointments. Our Patient Advisors need to offer you the most appropriate appointment to deal with your problem. You may not always need a face to face appointment with a GP/Nurse at the surgery.
Telephone consultations, extended access appointments or being directed to pharmacy or a local walk-in centre are all options that are available. Our Patient Advisors will need to ask you for details of the problem you are calling with, this is to enable use to direct you to the most appropriate clinician.
For minor symptoms less than 3 days old, we would encourage you to consult your local pharmacy or see our self-care section on our website.
Please be considerate to other patients and remember 1 APPOINTMENT IS FOR 1 PROBLEM AND 1 PATIENT. Asking the GP to deal with multiple problems or see additional family members, in one 10 minute appointment can cause the GP to run late which has an impact on other patients.
Should you turn up 10 minutes or later for your appointment you will not be seen and your appointment will be rescheduled.

We now offer extended hours surgeries on:
Wednesday and Friday morning appointments: 7.00 - 8.00am with our Healthcare Assistant.
These are appointments for Blood Tests, ECG's, BP Checks and New Patient Checks
Wednesday and Thursday evening appointments: 6.30 - 8.00pm with a Doctor
Dr Unwin , Dr Wong and our Nurses see appointments during these times.
These times are all subject to change depending on annual leave or sickness. All appointments are released early so they can be booked through the online booking system.
These are pre-booked appointments only and the surgery is NOT OPEN for telephone calls or for patients to collect prescriptions.
Need a GP in the evening or at the weekend?
Warrington GPs are working together to provide evening and weekend NON-URGENT appointments at Bath Street Health and Wellbeing Centre for those who may find it difficult to get to a GP during the day. Appointments are available Monday to Friday 6 pm to 8 pm, Saturday 8 am to 4 pm and Sunday 10 am to 2 pm. These are NON-URGENT, BOOKED appointments only through your GP surgery. This service is not for emergencies or for Walk In Patients.

GP Out Of Hours Service
The out of hours GP service is open Monday to Friday 6.30pm - 8.00am and weekends and public holidays 24 hours a day. The emergency GP out of hour’s service in Warrington provides urgent healthcare services for patients who feel their illness cannot wait until their GP surgery re-opens. To access, please call NHS 111.

Online – Our appointments are released for GPs for same day appointments from 8am
To make appointments at our surgery you can telephone us on 01925 637508 to arrange an appointment. Our lines open from 8.00am, once all of our appointments for the same day are filled we advise that you are added to our cancellation list and we will call you back if an appointment becomes available on the same day.
If you wish to register for on-line appointment booking you will need to call into the surgery to complete a registration form. Two forms of identification are required to register eg. utility bill, bank statement, driving license, passport.
Patients can manage GP appointments online:

- Book a telephone and face to face appointments.
- Cancel a telephone or face to face appointment (up to one hour before).
- View your medical records including test results

If you are not registered for online access please speak with reception.
