Posted on 27 Apr 2022
Coronavirus (COVID-19) can cause symptoms that last weeks or months after the infection has gone. This is sometimes called Long-COVID.
Recovery from Long-COVID is different for everyone with people often feeling better after a few days or weeks. While most will recover within 12 weeks, but for some, symptoms can last much longer.
Working in partnership with Warrington Wellbeing, Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS FT & Warrington CCG, Warrington Disability Partnership will be hosting regular Long COVID support groups both in person and online.
Groups begin on 4 Feb 2022 and are held every 2 weeks until mid-March;
- Morning sessions are online via Zoom from 11am – 12.30pm.
- Afternoon sessions are in person, from 1.30pm – 3pm.
